Hastelloy C-276 alloy is a tungsten-containing nickel-chromium-molybdenum alloy, which is considered to be a versatile corrosion resistant alloy due to its extremely low silicon carbon content.
It is mainly resistant to wet chlorine, various oxidizing “chlorides”, chloride salt solution, sulfuric acid and oxidizing salts. It has good corrosion resistance in low and medium temperature hydrochloric acid.

1. Excellent corrosion resistance to the majority of corrosive media in the condition of oxidation and reduction.
2. Excellent resistance to corrosion, crevice corrosion and stress corrosion cracking performance.C276 alloy is suitable for various chemical process industries containing oxidation and reducing media.High molybdenum,chromium content in alloy shows resistance to chloride ion erosion,and tungsten elements also further improves its corrosion resistance.C276 is only one of few materials which can show resistance to wet chlorine,hypochlorite and chlorine dioxide solution corrosion,and show significant corrosion resistance to the high concentration chlorate solution (such as ferric chloride and copper chloride).
Widely used in the field of chemical and petrochemical,such as application in organic components containing chloride and catalytic systems,especially suitable for high temperature,inorganic acid and organic acid (such as formic acid and acetic acid) mixed with impurities,sea water corrosion environments.
Used to provide in the form of the following main equipment or parts:
1. Pulp and paper industry, such as cooking and bleaching container.
2. The washing tower of FGD system, heater, wet steam fan again.
3. The operation of the equipment and components in the acidic gas environment.
4. Acetic acid and acid reactor;
