Nitronic 50 is a high strength and good corrosion resistant austenitic stainless steel. It has nearly double the yield strength of 304 and 316 stainless steel and has better corrosion resistance than 317L stainless steel. N50 Stainless remains non-magnetic even after being severely cold worked. It maintains strength at high temperatures as well as sub-zero temperatures

• Nitronic 50 Stainless Steel provides a combination of corrosion resistance and strength not found in any other commercial material. This austenitic stainless steel has corrosion resistance greater than that provided by types 316, 316L, 317, 317L plus approximately twice the yield strength at room temperature
• Nitronic 50 has very good mechanical properties at both elevated and sub-zero temperatures unlike many austenitic stainless steel grades, does not become magnetic in cryogenic situations
• Nitronic 50 does not become magnetic in cryogenic situations
• High Strength (HS) Nitronic 50 has a yield strength about three times that of 316 Stainless Steel
Used in petroleum, petrochemical, manure, chemical, nuclear fuel recycle, paper making, textile and food processing industries parts of furnace, combustion chamber, gas turbine and heat-treating facility connecting piece.
